The other morning my wife noticed that the bin men empty the grey ‘mini bin’ designed for waste stuffs into the large black bin which I understand contains the general waste designated for landfill, not I hasten to add, a ‘pod’ in the back of their lorry.

Thank you to everybody who supported our Feel Good Day on April 27 in Downham Market Town Hall. Unfortunately the weather was not very kind to us so attendance was perhaps a bit down, but there did seem to be a steady stream of people enjoying the stalls and treatments on offer and relaxing with their friends over a cup of tea or coffee and delicious cakes.

I was driving from the B1145 to Leziate on Wednesday when I noticed what looked to be a masonry type slab half on the pavement protruding over the road I swerved around it then thought I had better return to it and move it from being an obstruction.

Your correspondent from Buckinghamshire (Lynn News April 26) got it right when he said there was plenty of cheap parking here. Compared with some places Lynn is fine.
